Financial Miracles Still Happen : Seek And You Will Find

I first wrote this in 2016, at that time, things wonderfully happen in my life. Fast forward to this year, I have lost touch with hope in my life after some heart-affliction. Nevertheless, financial miracles still happen when I needed it and I wish that will be a reality in your life too.

“Are you in need of a financial miracle?” The preacher opens the floor for people to come. Part of my life scene flashes in front of me, and I am amazed. My times with financial growth has always been more of a miracle than grit.

Sometimes, receiving from the Lord sounds like a trio Ask, Seek, and Knock formula (Matthew 7). And there is no doubt that it’s a biblical truth although I don’t agree to “miracle” as a result of shouting out loud to people what they want. If someone calls you ten times a day for donation, would you not give?

How does the Lord give? What is a financial breakthrough? Could we move God’s hand to provide each time we cry out? These are all questions that I don’t have an answer to. My life experience with God is that He’s unchanging but always new. He surprises us.

By wisdom, a house is built, with understanding it’s established and thru knowledge its room is filled with rare and precious things. – Proverbs

Some people are naturally wise, but how could we get wisdom if we are not born wise or have the opportunity to learn?

The bible says – If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. – James 1:5

Finance is not something that my parents handled well. They were so unprepared that my siblings and I were this close to being a school drop out after high school. But God has His plans installed for us, and it came by not by scholarship or donation so that I can’t boost like it was man’s doing.

God has provided over the years, from having zero in my account to having zero concern about money for tomorrow. But I can’t exactly pinpoint a jackpot or windfall that became my miracle moment, It’s a growth marathon, me making decisions in His will and Him revealing His power.

If I were to write the miracles (like petrol tank miraculously refilled, walk out of car crash unharmed) and healing (that I don’t need to undergo a spine surgery) that He has done for me, my fingers would sores before this post is complete.

When the church needed funds, a student who gave all her allowance found cash bills that appeared in her bible. Appear, how often doesn’t that happens?

I admit I fall short of His standard. I, too once wanted to get rich and quick. But God gives me the amount that I could handle at the right time. In return, I learned how rich God is and how generous He is towards us. He taught me to live in abundance, which is better than being rich. Life abundance, you have family and friends to journey with you. Life in money, you can count your numbers alone and have fake friends.

Why do some believers still struggle? I think it’s because is many of us are eager to get rich, but being rich blind us from our Father in heaven. Luke 12:15 warns us to watch out and be on guard against all kinds of greed; a man’s life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.

The proper attitude towards the use of our possessions is knowing that we are merely stewards of that which is God’s, and we ought to be generous, ready to share in good deeds.

There’s a lot of scriptures that are related to finance, here are my favorite
s

Test me in this,” says the LORD Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it. – Malachi 3:10

But he who hates bribe will live. -Proverbs
15:27b NKJV (Even if it doesn’t feel so in our country now, look at how countries have gone into crisis with corruption. There can be no peace in a place where there is no justice.)

The most amazing part is, such miracles still happen to me, people around me and it surely applies to you too. Whatever is your struggle, ask for wisdom. Have a generous heart, generous minds, and generous hands.

And a final word for someone who needs a faith lift

Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7

The words of the Lord are pure words, like silver refined in a furnace on the ground, purified seven times. -Psalm 12
